We knew the convention was coming, but now we know who's going to be there. The World of Atari show, sponsored by Atari Gaming Headquarters, is being held August 21-23 in Las Vegas this year. And besides checking out all the cool gear, fans of old systems and games will have the opportunity to listen to and meet industry pros who've been around the video game world since the 8-bit days.
Some of the attendees this year include Rob Fulop, designer for Demon Attack, Space Invaders, and Missile Command, among others; Atari pinball machine developer Jerry Jessop; Arnie Katz, cofounder of Electronic Games Magazine; Dan Kramer, designer of the Atari 2600 and 5200 Trak-Ball and president of DK Enterprises; Howard Scott Warshaw, designer of Yar's Revenge, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and E.T. (Atari 2600); and many more.
