In 2016, you might be able to buy stamps from the U.S. Postal Service with video games on them. That's according to a list of leaked stamp subjects obtained by The Washington Post.
A stamp celebrating "Video Games" has been approved, but it is not yet in design, according to the document, which is dated January 2014. It's unclear what specific imagery the USPS might consider for the stamp, but you'd have to imagine it would be something significantly iconic.
Of course, "Video Games" is just one of hundreds of stamp subjects featured in the leaked document detailing stamps to be introduced in the 2014-2016 time period. Others include "Steve Jobs," "Jimi Hendrix," "Mushrooms," and "Michael Jackson," among many others.
You can check out the full list of stamp subjects approved by the USPS through this Scribd document. A word of caution, however, as the USPS points out that the items mentioned in the document are subject to change at any time.
If you worked at the USPS, what would you think would best represent "Video Games" on a stamp?
