　　Players from far and wide attempted to qualify for IEM Sao Paulo which will commence on the 30th of January, but only eight lucky players were able to make the cut and they are the following:

Juan ' MajOr' Carlos Tena Lopez	Dario 'TLO' Wünsch	Kim 'herO' Joon Ho
Choi 'Polt' Seong Hun	Jung 'jjakji' Ji Hoon	Jung 'Bbyong' Woo Yong
Zifeng 'hellokitty' Wang
Brandon 'puCK' Qual

Some notable players who didn't manage to qualify were, amongst others, mousesport's recent acquisition Baek 'Dear' Dong Jun, recent Jin-Air Green Wings signing Cho 'Maru' Sung Choo and the most consistent zerg of last year Kim 'Soulkey' Min Chul who all fell early on in the final Asian qualifier.
