As the Blade Runner launch nears, Westwood has its hands full.
A minor glitch in the game's master plan occurred today as the game's primary web site (bladerunner.com), slated to go live on Tuesday, experienced technical difficulties and failed to reach the curious minions as planned.
Apparently the engineers at Westwood took the site down (it was "live yesterday" according to spokesperson Glenn Mandel) to make a few minor adjustments. And down it remains.
You can, however, preview the Blade Runner site's contents at www.bladerunner.net (a spittin' image of the bladerunner.com site) to get all of the "real-time 3D adventure game" you can possibly digest.
While the bladerunner.net site contains the same content in bladerunner.com, Westwood is promoting the latter site due to the far-more recognizable url.
Westwood is hopeful the .com site will be up and running soon.
