After being delayed because of the COVID pandemic, The Handmaid's Tale is finally coming back to Hulu for Season 4. The first three episodes of the new season land on the streaming services on Wednesday, April 28.

　　Hulu also dropped a new trailer for the 10-episode season, and it's the first time we've seen any footage from the show since June 2020. This season is leading to war as June (Elisabeth Moss) is a part of the resistance. Check it out below.

　　In the latest season, "June strikes back against Gilead as a fierce rebel leader, but the risks she takes bring unexpected and dangerous new challenges," reads the official synopsis. "Her quest for justice and revenge threatens to consume her and destroy her most cherished relationships."

　　In addition to Moss, The Handmaid's Tale stars Joseph Fiennes (The Harry Potter series), Yvonne Strahovski (Dexter), Samira Wiley (Orange is the New Black), Alexis Bledel (Gilmore Girls), Ann Dowd (Hereditary), and Max Minghella (The Social Network). The series is executive produced by Bruce Miller, Warren Littlefield, Elisabeth Moss, Daniel Wilson, Fran Sears, Eric Tuchman, John Weber, Frank Siracusa, Sheila Hockin, Kira Snyder and Yahlin Chang.

　　The Hulu original series has already been renewed for a fifth season. In a statement, showrunner Bruce Miller said, "We're very grateful to Hulu and MGM that the show will be returning for a fifth season, and especially to our loyal fans for their support. We are thrilled to be able to continue to tell these stories, with our incredible cast and crew, and can't wait to be back on the air with season four next year."
