Call of Duty's focus is obviously still on Season 2 of Vanguard and Warzone, but 2020's Black Ops Cold War is now getting year 2 content. Treyarch announced a new map and the Vargo 52 assault rifle will arrive in Black Ops Cold War on March 4.

　　The Vargo 52 is described as a full-auto assault rifle with a fast fire rate. The weapon is built for damage at mid-range fights, with improved muzzle velocity and reliable handling for steady firing control. Here's how you can unlock this latest addition to Black Ops Cold War.

How to unlock the Vargo 52

Black Ops Cold War MP challenge

　　This should be pretty easy to accomplish. Just pick your favorite mode and start dealing some damage. However, choosing a playlist of smaller maps like Nuketown will likely get the challenge done quickly.

Zombies unlock challenge

　　This challenge shouldn't be too much of a grind if you're a Zombies fan. Multiplayer might be a bit faster, especially if you choose the small map playlists, but this is a pretty easy unlock for the Vargo 52 as well.

Store bundle

　　However, it's worth noting that purchasing the bundle will only give you the specific weapon attachments that come with the blueprint. You still have to complete the unlock challenge if you want the base version of the weapon to customize with different attachments.

　　Treyarch didn't mention any unlock challenge for Warzone players, but the gun should be available for use in the battle royale once you unlock in Black Ops Cold War or purchase in the shop.
