Despite having been out for less than a week, Hogwarts Legacy is receiving a lot of mods that attempt to improve the game's visuals and performance and add new features. Among the most impressive work-in-progress mods for the game is one that introduces a multiplayer mode.
The HogWarp mod, which is in development by Yamashi and only available for their Patron supporters as of now, seemingly does the impossible, introducing a multiplayer mode to the open-world game developed by Avalanche Software. As showcased in a video shared on YouTube by The Together Team, the mod still needs quite a bit of work, but it's impressive nonetheless, everything considered.
Hogwarts Legacy launched last week on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S to commercial acclaim, becoming the best-selling game based on the Wizarding World. The game's commercial success is definitely deserved, as it is an entertaining and engaging game, as Chris' highlighted in his review.
Hogwarts Legacy is, for better or worse, an entertaining and engaging game. By far the best digital version of the wizarding world, it offers a vast swathe of things to do. Even the more mundane elements (bandit camps!) are improved by a robust combat system that genuinely makes you feel like you're a part of the Harry Potter universe.
Hogwarts Legacy is now out on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S worldwide. The game will release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on April 4th and on Nintendo Switch later this year, on July 25th.
