Last week a new trailer has been made available for Hitman, the new entry of the series launching this year in all regions. Today, Square Enix has shared yet another trailer detailing the upcoming beta, which will be held in just a few days on PlayStation 4 and PC.
The PlayStation 4 beta, which will be held on February 12th as confirmed last week, will be followed by a PC beta, beginning on February 19th. The beta will include the same content on both platforms, allowing players to play through the first mission of the game set in the ICA training facility. Unfortunately, it seems like Xbox One won't receive the beta, preventing owners of the platform from playing the game before release.
Last week, the official PlayStation Blog has confirmed that PlayStation 4 owners will be able to get access to exclusive content, such as the Sarajevo Six, six bonus contracts that will tell a side story focused on the CICADA unit.
The first PS4 exclusive contract will be available when the game launches on March 11th. We’re calling it “The Director.” Your target is Scott Sarno, Director of European Operations for the CICADA private military corporation. He is a thirty-year veteran of clandestine operations and has been linked to a number of questionable operations in Europe and the Middle East as far back as the mid-nineties. He is highly trained and incredibly observant, you should expect him to be accompanied by several CICADA agents at all times.
Hitman will launch as an episodic game on March 11th for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Additional content will be made available throughout the year. We'll let you know more about the game as soon as possible so stay tuned for all the latest news.
