Hideo Kojima is visiting Horizon Zero Dawn developer Guerrilla Games in Amsterdam. Kojima took to Twitter to tease some images from his visit.

　　Kojima and Sony’s PS4 lead architect, Mark Cerny, are currently on a 10-day technology tour looking for “high-tech”. The reason for this technology tour has yet to be revealed.

　　Since last week, Kojima has tweeted about his journey with Cenry as well. According Kojima, he's seeking out the "newest technology”.

　　Kojima and his new studio, Kojima Productions, might well be looking for new tech for a new game engine. The FOX engine that Kojima developed while at Konami, remains property of the Japanese publisher.

　　Kojima announced his new ‘agile’ studio last month. Following the announcement, the designer stated that he “want’s to create something that people expect, but feels new as the same time”.

　　With his studio, Kojima will be accompanied by former Metal Gear and Zone of the Enders artist, Yoji Shinkawa, and producer Kenichiro Imaizumi.

　　Shinkawa added that he wants create characters that are more recognizable and more beloved.

　　We’ve been working on a franchise that is beloved and has recognizable characters. One of my big goals is, visually, with whatever characters we create, to go beyond that, to be more recognizable, more beloved. That’s definitely one of the goals I have when it comes to the art side.

　　Kojima Productions is currently working hard on a PS4 console exclusive, and judging from various job opportunities at the studio, Kojima’s upcoming title might well be some a SCI-FI title set in a military setting, and will include RPG elements, and possibly a crowd AI system. The game might also involve some kind of mecha and vehicles, but also monsters are a possibility. It is safe to say that the title will feature some sort of an online/multiplayer mode as well.
