  Since its launch, Nier: Automata has earned the preference of players and the success of the game developed by PlatinumGames that has brought many benefits to Square Enix, responsible for publishing it. However, where development work was carried out at PlatinumGames, the success of the title also lives along and Hideki Kamiya recently expressed its respect.

  Hideki Kamiya, a historic game designer and co-founder of PlatinumGames, took a moment on his official Twitter account to thank Yoko Taro and his work on NieR: Automata for the good things they have brought to the studio.

  In his comments, the creator said that the success of NieR: Automata led Platinum Games to a new player base, prompting more members to join the development team of the studio, which represented a successful story and increased the number of applications for vacancies published.

  At the same time, Kamiya acknowledged the work of Yoko Taro, director of the game, and stated that there was no exaggeration to say that PlatinumGames was saved by him.

  In this manner, the success of NieR: Automata was not only important part for Square Enix to have good financial results, but it also provoked a positive environment in PlatinumGames, especially after the heavy blow the studio received after the cancellation of Scalebound, title which was in development for Xbox One.

  Although the company has been awarded on its own merits with a great position in the industry thanks to the outstanding creations such as Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Vanquish and Bayonetta, the fact is that the popularity that NieR: Automata has given has received a different dimension, support that it yearned, force the company to continue delivering epics of such enjoyable quality.
