Heroes of the Storm Dev Discusses New Character, Spectate Mode-October 2024
Oct 27, 2024 6:36 PM

Heroes of the Storm director Dustin Browder took to Twitter today to answer fans' questions about Blizzard's hero brawler.

Browder fielded questions about esports, fixes for what some players find frustrating, and even new content. The game director mentioned that a new character, Warcraft's Lunara, might be coming by the end of the year.

But those wanting to watch their friends may be disappointed by some of the news Browder had for fans. He confirmed that there would be no "Spectate Mode" coming to the game any time soon.

Heroes of the Storm recently received a patch that increased the limit of free characters that are playable every week, among other things. It also got a new character that has two heads and is controlled by two different players.

Below is a round-up of everything Browder had for inquisitive players today. Tread carefully as one of the tweets contains spoilers for last month's StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void.
