And now that the touchy-feely stuff is out of the way, we also want to give you the heads-up that our seventh annual Best and Worst of the Year feature is going to premiere on Saturday, December 21 at 3:30PM Pacific. Containing over 100 unique award categories and highlighting the greatest achievements this year on the PC, Xbox, GameCube, PlayStation 2, and Game Boy Advance, this is by far our biggest such feature to date, and our greatest feature story of the year. Also be sure to watch our Best and Worst of 2002 video presentation, in which our editors offer their personal views on the real winners of this truly amazing year in gaming. Furthermore, you'll have a chance to vote for your own personal favorite games of the year in our seventh annual Readers' Choice awards.

　　Having put the finishing touches on this massive story, GameSpot's crew is taking the rest of the year off.
