Halo developer 343 Industries has updated its list of known issues for Halo: The Master Chief Collection. The studio is working to fix these issues, but the developer also cautioned that it's currently prioritizing the launch of Halo 3 on PC ahead of fixing these lingering issues.
"The scope and implications of these issues vary greatly so while some may see good movement in a given month, others may not," 343 explained in a blog post.
The list of known issues for Halo: MCC covers both Xbox One and PC. On Xbox, 343 acknowledged that it's aware of "performance issues" for Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, and Halo 3, and it's working toward a fix. Additionally, the studio has acknowledged issues with the pistol spread for Halo: Combat Evolved multiplayer when playing at higher frame rates on PC. A preliminary fix has already been released, but the developer continues to track down issues that are persisting.
343 is also investigating various audio and stuttering issues, while the studio is looking into mouse input problems as well. You can see the full rundown of known issues below.
The studio also identified new features that are in active development, some that are in the design phase, and others that are in a "backlog" and may be addressed at a later date. Things like double key binds and account linking for Steam are in development, while 343 is looking at text chat improvements and more mod support to introduce later.
On a longer timeline, 343 said it is looking into bringing PC features like FOV sliders to console later in development, but it's not promising this will ever be delivered. You can see a list of all the new features in development for MCC down below.
In addition to Halo: MCC, 343 has a separate team working on Halo Infinite for release later this year as a launch title for Xbox Series X.
