343 Industries, the developer of the Halo series, lost its studio head last week when Dan Ayoub moved to work at a different division inside of Microsoft. Now, the studio has named a replacement.

　　Microsoft veteran Chris Lee is taking over. He was the executive producer on Halo 5: Guardians and the senior lead producer on Halo 4. He also worked on Halo: Reach and Halo 3: ODST. Most recently, Lee worked at 343 as the studio head of the first-person shooter Halo projects.

　　According to his public LinkedIn profile page, Lee joined Microsoft in 2003 as a software test engineer, before joining Microsoft's game development division as a software development testing engineer in 2004.

　　As for Ayoub, he is now working at Microsoft on the company's Mixed Reality team. There, he will work in an effort for the "empowerment of education through technology."

　　In other Halo news, Microsoft has confirmed that Halo 3 Anniversary is not happening. Additionally, there won't be any Halo 6 news at E3 next month, though Microsoft has "a little something" to show for a different project.
