Grand Theft Auto's heading to both the Nintendo 64 and the Game Boy Color this fall, courtesy of Rockstar Games. GTA has proven successful on other platforms, selling more than two million copies on the PC and PlayStation since its November '97 release.
"Grand Theft Auto is such a success that every gamer should have a version to play," Sam Houser, Rockstar's president said in a statement. "As we view the protection and expansion of our GTA franchise as the most vital segment of our publishing business, we are naturally thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Nintendo toward broadening its reach."
Rockstar previously announced plans to publish Grand Theft Auto: London 1969, a mission pack for the original game for both the PlayStation and PC this April. A sequel to the game will hit both the PC and PlayStation this October.
