The opening week sales of Grand Theft Auto V in the UK outsold many other of the year's AAA releases combined, trade publication MCV has reported.
The opening week sales of Grand Theft Auto V in the UK were higher than the first week sales of FIFA 14, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Battlefield 4, Pokemon X, Pokemon Y, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, and Batman: Arkham Origins combined.
Take-Two Interactive announced that the game grossed $1 billion worldwide in its first three days on sale.
Grand Theft Auto V's free Beach Bum DLC will be released on November 19. This week the company also teased an announcement for "exciting Story Mode updates" in the near future.
