GT Interactive has just announced a crossword-puzzle game that carries a New York Times license. Cleverly titled New York Times Crossword Puzzle, the PC game features more than 1,000 crossword puzzles taken from the famous newspaper, as well as a timed competition mode for added value and a hint option for the amateur player.
"We are pleased to be working with WizardWorks to bring our crossword puzzles to the casual gaming market," said Tom Carley, president of The New York Times news services division. "We're excited at the new challenges a PC CD-ROM version of our classic crossword provides and hope this collaboration increases the fun for all of our puzzle fans."
New York Times Crossword Puzzle will ship to stores nationwide this April for US$19.99.
