The remastered PC port of classic Game Arts role-playing game Grandia II—now titled Grandia II Anniversary Edition—will launch on August 24, publisher GungHo Online Entertainment America told GameSpot today.

　　Grandia II Anniversary Edition will be available through Steam and GOG.com. The port is based on the original Sega Dreamcast version, published 15 years ago this month, and will be on sale for $14.99 for a limited time. After this, the game will cost $19.99.

　　Publisher GungHo chose to remaster and release Grandia II following a survey the company posted in April. In this survey, GungHo asked if players would be interested in PC ports of classic Game Arts titles, with Grandia II standing out as the most wanted port among the studio’s games.

　　“After careful consideration, we have chosen to retitle the game for PC to Grandia II Anniversary Edition in order to properly celebrate Grandia II’s 15th anniversary,” said President and CEO of Game Arts and GungHo Kazuki Morsishita in a statement. “The fans voted and, now, we are proud to bring a revamped edition of the classic role-playing game from Dreamcast to PC as Grandia II Anniversary Edition.”

　　Grandia II Anniversary Edition includes several new features, such as gamepad support, a Japanese voice acting track, and an additional harder difficulty level.
