Sony and Polyphony Digital have announced update 1.36 for Gran Turismo 7. The update will go live on Monday, August 7, and will includes content such as GT Cafe extra menus, four additional cars, and a crossover event that ties to the Gran Turismo movie, which releases in theaters later this August.
From August 7 to September 28, Gran Turismo 7 players will be able to redeem the Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 ’18 for free, as seen in the upcoming film. Players can redeem this vehicle from the special panel within the World Map screen. Additionally, the new GT-R livery will be added to the game.
The update will also introduce the following four cars:
Chevrolet Corvette (C1) ‘58Maserati MC20 ‘20Toyota Ambulance Himedic ’21Toyota GR Corolla MORIZO Edition ‘22Keep in mind, the Toyota Ambulance will be purchasable from Brand Central in late September, but players can gain access to it early through the World Series Showdown Viewers Gift Campaign. Players who enter the Toyota Gazoo Racing GT Cup 2023 and register their online IDs will receive the Toyota GR Corolla MORIZO Edition ‘22 at no additional cost. Otherwise, it'll be available from Brand Central in September.
Update 1.36 will also include the following three Extra Menus:
Extra Menu No. 26: ‘Maserati’ (Collector Level 40 and above)Extra Menu No. 27: ‘Aston Martin’ (Collector Level 44 and above)Extra Menu No. 28: ‘Kei cars’ (Collector Level 27 and above)Likewise, the Fukuoka Eastern Fire Station will become available from the featured selection once the update goes live.
Gran Turismo 7 is available for PS4 and PS5 now. The Gran Turismo movie releases in theaters on August 25.
