During this year's E3, Sony unveiled the new entry in the God Of War series, God Of War 4, a game that looks like will change many of the series staples to offer a fresh and exciting experience. Very little has been said since the game's original showing, but it seems like development is proceeding rather well.
Not too long ago, God Of War 4 director Cory Barlog revealed on his official Twitter profile that the game is now in a state where it can be played from start to end, a good development milestone that might indicate that release may not be all that far off.
ha. no…there is a whole game here. Just finished first full play through with the leads. very exciting milestone for us!

Cory Barlog recently talked about the tone change featured in God of War 4, mentioning how he feels that we are in an era where players long for deeper stories in video games, much deeper stories that dramatically challenge people to dig a bit deeper and avoid handing out answers straight away. Barlog admitted that Naughty Dog's The Last of Us opened the way for this type of storytelling in video games, and God of War 4 will be a big jump ahead for the series like Resident Evil 4 was back in the day.
God of War 4 is now in development for PlayStation 4 and it will launch on a yet to be confirmed date. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as more comes in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
