Everything old is new again on the PlayStation Network this week, as vintage gameplay gets a new coat of paint with three just-arrived downloadable releases.

Arthur's jumping animation is as distinctive as his boxers. Kicking things off is Capcom's announcement that the PlayStation Portable action game Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins is being added to PSN, with a price tag of $19.99. Originally released in 2006, the game retains much of the side-scrolling gameplay of the 2D arcade series but renders the world of overmatched knight Arthur with completely new 3D graphics. For more, check out GameSpot's original review of Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins.

The mean machines of GTI Club Plus. Gamers eagerly awaiting Sumo Digital's revamp of OutRun might be able to tide themselves over with another of the developer's arcade redux racers. Konami confirmed that the Sumo Digital-developed GTI Club Plus for the PlayStation 3 will go live in North America today. Already released in Europe, the racer pits hatchbacks like the Mini Cooper and Volkswagen Golf against one another through winding courses in the French mountainside. GameSpot's hands-on preview of GTI Club Plus has more.

Finally, Creat Studios and Tik Games follow up their recent PSN release Cuboid with Magic Ball for the PS3. Taking a number of cues from the Arkanoid/Breakout arcade games, Magic Ball replaces the standard bricks with an array of knight- and pirate-themed accoutrements. Busting these objects in each level will yield power-ups that can be used to further the player's destructive capabilities. Magic Ball will sell for $9.99.
