Saturday Night Live and Ghostbusters star Kate McKinnon will voice Ms. Frizzle in Netflix's upcoming reboot of the classic children's program The Magic School Bus, according to Variety.
Lily Tomlin voiced Ms. Frizzle on the original show and won an Emmy for her performance. The new program is called The Magical School Bus Rides Again.
The Magic School Bus Rides Again, which Netflix announced in 2014, will comprise 26 episodes. A premiere date has not been announced, while other casting details are unavailable.
The Magic School Bu is based on the Scholastic book of the same name and ran for four seasons in the '90s on PBS. Its theme song "Ride on the Magic School Bus," was performed by Little Richard.
In other Netflix news, the network announced that Orange is the New Black Season 5 premieres in June, while a Castlevania TV show is on the way.
