GeForce Game Ready Driver Is Optimized for The Finals and Fortnite Chapter 5-December 2024

  NVIDIA announced the release of a new GeForce Game Ready driver (version 546.33) optimized for Embark's competitive first-person shooter The Finals, Fortnite Chapter 5, and Squad's latest update. As usual, you may download the driver either via GeForce Experience or directly through the website.

  The GeForce Game Ready driver also adds one-click optimization through GeForce Experience for the following PC games:

  Avatar: Frontiers of PandoraThe Day BeforeThe FinalsThrone and LibertyWarhammer 40,000: Rogue TraderWarhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of RuinIn the news brief, NVIDIA took the time to highlight the recent 'RTX 500' milestone, adding that the following RTX-enabled games are now available or will soon launch:

  Call of Duty: Warzone Season 1 - available now with NVIDIA DLSS 3, NVIDIA DLAA, and NVIDIA Reflex, which reduces system latency by up to 28%.The Devourer: Hunted Souls - available now in early access with DLSS 2.The Finals - available now with RTXGI ray tracing, NVIDIA DLSS 3 (which bumps performance by 2x on average at 4K), and NVIDIA Reflex, which cuts system latency by up to 57%.Fortnite Chapter 5 - available now with DLSS 2 and Reflex.Sands of Aura - available now with DLSS 2.SCUM - updates from DLSS 2 to DLSS 3 on December 14.Soulslinger: Envoy of Death - launches December 14th with DLSS 2 and DLAA support.Silent Rain - available now in early access with DLSS 2.Throne and Liberty - available now in South Korea (the Western launch has been delayed to 2024) with DLSS 3 and Reflex. NVIDIA says GeForce RTX 40 Series gamers can boost performance by an average of 2.6X at 4K with DLSS 3, using max settings, and by an average of 1.9X at 2560x1440 and 1920x1080.NVIDIA also reminded everyone that the recent footage released for games like Black Myth: Wukong, The First Descendant, and Mecha Break demonstrated DLSS 3 and/or other RTX technologies.

  Last but not least, NVIDIA teased an upcoming special RTX 500 giveaway conceived in partnership with Bethesda. More details on the giveaway will be released later this week via GeForce social channels, so keep an eye on those if you're interested.
