European trade publication MCV is reporting that 50,000 units of Nintendo's GameCube were sold in Germany in the console's first two days of availability there. The best-selling GameCube games in Germany thus far are Star Wars Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron II, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, and FIFA World Cup 2002. According to MCV's report, Nintendo hopes to sell 600,000 GameCube units in Germany by year's end. We'll have more on the European launch of the GameCube when more sales numbers are released.
