Tiger's sleek entry into the handheld games market just got a little sleeker.
Later this year, Tiger will introduce the game.com pocketpro, a hand-held the company says is smaller than the current game.com (about the size of a Game Boy perhaps?) but with the same retail price of US49.95.
New games for the pocketpro (all playable on the original game.com) include Resident Evil 2, Holyfield, Monopoly, Small Soldiers, Madden Football '99, Sonic Jam, X-Files, Castlevania, Fighters Megamix, Wheel of Fortune 2, Jeopardy!, Tiger Casino, Giga Deluxe, and NBA Live '99. Game cartridges vary in price between 19.95 and 29.95.
Tiger will also introduce what it is calling Mutoid Giga Fighters, a dot-matrix electronic key chain game (with 32x29 resolution), and the 99X-based Mutoids, a hand-held sporting an 80x80 dot-matrix resolution screen.
