Microsoft has announced that Game Voice Share, a free voice chat application for games, is now available for download. Game Voice works in a manner similar to current voice chat applications, such as Roger Wilco and BattleCom, which let gamers chat with team members during multiplayer games. The full version, Sidewider Game Voice, adds a channel selector device and a headset in addition to extra software functionality. Sidewider Game Voice will start shipping in two weeks and will carry a suggested retail price of US$49.99. You can grab Game Voice Share here. Microsoft also advises that users download this DirectSound patch.
