Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have announced their third project with Netflix, part of their overall deal with the streaming service, and it's yet another novel adaptation, The Hollywood Reporter states. The duo will be taking the Pulitzer Prize-winning book The Overstory by Richard Powers and turning it into a live-action drama.

　　The Overstory is described by Netflix as "a sweeping, impassioned work of activism and resistance that is also a stunning evocation of the natural world. It tells the story of a world alongside ours that is vast, interconnected, resourceful, magnificently inventive and almost invisible to us. A handful of disparate people learn how to see that world and are drawn into its unfolding catastrophe."

　　Benioff and Weiss will be joined by Hugh Jackman as an executive producer in the project, with the novel's author also attached as a co-executive producer.

　　It will be joining Benioff and Weiss's other Netflix-bound novel adaptation project, The Three-Body Problem, based on the series by Liu Cixin, and their half-hour dramedy The Chair which is set to star Sandrah Oh. All three projects are part of a massive $250 million dollar deal the duo has with Netflix.

　　Details about The Overstory's cast, planned release date, and production are still kept tightly underwraps.
