While reporting its financial earnings today, publisher THQ revealed that Full Spectrum Warrior has been delayed. Originally due in March, the Xbox version of the Pandemic Studios-developed tactical shooter is now slated to ship out on June 8, 2004 while PC release has been pushed back to September. No reason for the delay was given.
Co-developed with the U.S. Army, who uses a modified version as a training simulator, Full Spectrum Warrior will put players in charged of a squad of American soldiers. Their job will be to guide their troops through a series of urban-combat mission in a fictional country in the throes of an ethnic civil war.
