Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino's classic 1996 vampire movie From Dusk till Dawn celebrates its 25th anniversary this month, and now Rodriguez has announced that he is working on an animated version of the film.
The director revealed his plans in an interview with Games Radar. The animated series will continue to expand the mythology of the movie's Aztec vampires rather than simply be a remake and is being developed for Rodriguez's action-orientated El Rey TV network. No further details have been revealed so far, and the project does not have a release date.

This won't be the first spin-off from From Dusk till Dawn. There were two direct-to-video sequels in the '90s, and more recently, Rodriguez produced a live-action TV show, which ran for three seasons between 2014 and 2016. From Dusk till Dawn: The Series aired on El Rey in the US and Latin America and is available on Netflix internationally.
There is also a new 4K restoration of the original movie on the way. Rodriguez recently said that the new version "looks gorgeous" and confirmed that it will be available later this year.
