While Friday the 13th has always been a superstitious day, 40 years ago, it took on a whole new meaning when the film Friday the 13th came out. The film spawned numerous sequels, which included oh-so-many deaths. Now, the first film is getting a cool-looking rerelease and the seventh film is getting a soundtrack rerelease in May.
Coming to stores on May 5, Paramount Home Entertainment is repackaging the Blu-ray release of the first Friday the 13th film. This steelbook edition features artwork from the original movie poster on the cover, along with the same special features from the original release. Check out what it looks like below.
