Volition has released a short trailer of its space shooter, Descent: Freespace 2. The footage shows off both in-game sequences and prerendered introductory cutscenes. Most of the trailer highlights FreeSpace 2's new features, like the nebula systems, the new fighters, the larger capital ships, and a few of the new weapons.
There are two versions available - a high-resolution trailer weighing in at 27MB and a low-resolution download for the bandwidth challenged. FreeSpace 2 is due for release this Christmas.
