Thousands of publishers, developers, industry retailers, and gaming media flock to Los Angeles each year to partake in the world's largest video game industry trade show. Unfortunately, the Electronic Entertainment Expo is not open to the public, which means gamers are usually forced to watch the excitement unfold from the sidelines.
Xbox Australia is hoping to dull some of that pain with the announcement that it has teamed up with Foxtel to deliver two special Microsoft events from this year's E3 to Aussie viewers via the FOX8 channel.
Aussie viewers will be able to watch Project Natal news and demos live on FOX8.
The first event, titled Xbox 360: The Future Revealed, will be delivered live from the Xbox 360 media briefing at this year's show and will include key game announcements on titles like Halo: Reach, Gears of War 3, and Fable III, as well as Project Natal and Xbox Live news. The second program--World Premiere of Project Natal for Xbox 360--will include news and demos of Project Natal hardware and software and will be hosted by R&B singer Kelly Rowland. The program will also feature a tailored performance by Cirque du Soleil based on the idea of controller-free gaming.
Xbox 360: The Future Revealed will air live and commercial free on FOX8 on Tuesday, June 15 at 3:30 a.m. EDT with a second screening on Tuesday, June 15 at 3:30 p.m. EDT.
World Premiere of Project Natal for Xbox 360 will air on FOX8 on Saturday, June 26 at 7:30 p.m. EDT.
