Foundation 9 unveils new look
Foundation 9 unveils new look-October 2024
Oct 24, 2024 10:21 AM

While it's not going to be made into a pilot episode for Extreme Game Publisher Corporate Identity Makeover, Foundation 9 today unveiled its new company logo, and a completely redesigned Web site to go with it.

Foundation 9 enlisted the help of branding agencies Ammirati and PixelPushers for the logo and Web site, respectively. The publisher says its new look represents the company's "recent growth and plans to embark on new development frontiers."

In a statement announcing the makeover, company COO Richard Hare added, "We see our new look as an essential part of our brand vision that further establishes the company as one of the premiere [sic] developers in the business."

Foundation 9 was formed in March of last year when indie developers The Collective (Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, Mark Ecko's Getting Up) and Backbone Entertainment (Death Jr., Age of Empires: The Age of Kings for DS) joined forces. Since that time it has added five more brands to its roster: Pipeworks (Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee, Godzilla: Save the Earth), ImaginEngine (World Poker Championship), Digital Eclipse (Midway Arcade Treasures), the production management company Circle of Confusion, and most recently, the Prince Edward Island-based Backbone Charlottetown.
