When Foundation 9 Entertainment acquired Amaze Entertainment in November, it referred to itself as the largest independent developer in North America. Now the parent company of studios including Backbone Entertainment, Shiny, The Collective, Digital Eclipse, and more has revised that statement to include the entire globe.
As evidence, Foundation 9 this week announced that it is currently working on all platforms, with more than 30 projects set to be released in 2007 and 2008 by more than 10 publishing partners. Some of the announced titles being developed by the company's nearly 750 employees include Death Jr. & the Science Fair of Doom for the DS, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for Xbox Live Arcade, Call of Duty: Roads to Victory for the PSP, and the upcoming game versions of Dirty Harry.
Foundation 9 studios have collectively produced more than 350 games, according to the company, and more than 30 last year alone.
