Forza Horizon 3 Xbox One X HDR Fix Coming Soon
Forza Horizon 3 Xbox One X HDR Fix Coming Soon-October 2024
Oct 22, 2024 1:46 AM

Earlier this week, Forza Horizon 3 received the Xbox One X enhancement update which also introduced some HDR issues, making the game look too dark with the feature enabled. It's now been confirmed that a fix for this issue is coming soon.

The HDR fix has been confirmed on the Forza series official forums. A release date for the fix has yet to be confirmed, but there's no doubt that we will hear more about the matter soon enough.

  Hello everyone,

We are aware of an issue with the new Forza Horizon 3 Xbox One X Enhanced update that went out on Monday the 15th of January. This issue involves improper exposure calculation in certain situations, which can cause the screen to be too dark or too bright. This issue affects players on Xbox One X. We have identified the issue and will be releasing a fix; stay tuned for more information.

  Thank you,

  Nitro Glitter

The Forza Horizon 3 Xbox One X update introduces support for native 4K resolution and a variety of other enhancements.

First and foremost, this update enables Forza Horizon 3 to run in native 4K (3840×2160) on a console for the very first time. Forza Horizon 3 has always been a fantastic-looking game but the clarity and detail of native 4K resolution really brings the vast playground of Australia to life like never before. In addition, we’ve made a number of graphical improvements to the game, such as increased shadow resolution, improved visual effects and increased LOD and draw distances, which take advantage of the power of the Xbox One X.

Forza Horizon 3 is now available on PC and Xbox One.
