Following yesterday’s Forza Horizon 3 XB1X patch, various users have reported that the game’s is now too dark with HDR enabled.

　　Microsoft and Playground Games released the highly-anticipated 4K update for Forza Horizon 3 yesterday, but if multiple users on Reddit are to be believed, the patch makes the game way too dark on some occasions.

　　Apparently, the issue wasn’t present when playing Forza Horizon 3 on the Xbox One X prior to yesterday’s update.  Down below you’ll find the post from Reddit user ‘TheReaver’.

　　Is anyone else having issues with the game being too dark now? its like im driving at twilight/dusk, even if its in the middle of the day.

　　This wasnt an issue in the past on the same tv when i played through the game. I tested the game a bit last night before the patch came out, just to remember what it looked like before the patch so i could compare. i didnt have this issue last night.

　　The game detail looks amazing now in areas, but for the most part just too dark. Adjusting HDR or Brightness settings wont fix this issue.

　　I have a Samsung KS8000, backlight set to max.

　　While some tend to disagree with him, various other players tend to agree with TheReaver’s findings.
