Microsoft has been billing Forza Motorsport 4 as the most content-rich installment in the series, but those wanting still more now have options. Today, the publisher announced that an $80 Forza 4 Limited Collector's Edition will be parked alongside the $60 standard edition of the Xbox 360-exclusive racer when it arrives on retail shelves October 11.

　　For the extra $20, gamers will have access to an additional 25 cars that are available as downloadable content. These packs include the VIP Car Pack and the Launch Bonus car pack, which are detailed below. Also included will be an as-yet-undetailed 10-car American muscle car add-on pack that will be available as day-one DLC for those who do not buy the Collector's Edition.

　　BMW's new M5 can be put through its paces in Forza 4. The Forza 4 Limited Collector's Edition will come bundled in a steel-book DVD case. Those who go with this option will be given VIP Membership status within the Forza community, which raises their profile on Turn 10's website and other community features. It also includes stickers and Cars of Forza Motorsport 4 Presented by Top Gear, a 96-page book written by the team behind Britain's popular car show.

　　Microsoft also announced today that it has teamed with BMW to debut the German car manufacturer's 2012 M5 in the game. The 2012 BMW M5, which will appear on the cover of the Collector's Edition, will be included in the premium edition of Forza 4 as part of the BMW M5 Fan Pack. This DLC pack will also be available for download on October 11 for standard-edition purchasers.
