Previously, GameSpot News reported that Square is currently developing a card-battle RPG for the WonderSwan Color. Today, the company has announced the game's official title: Wild Card. It is a role-playing card game featuring artwork by Akihiko Yoshida of Vagrant Story and Tactics Ogre fame. The game uses cards to represent everything in the game - from weapons and magic spells to characters and dungeon maps.
Wild Card for the WonderSwan Color will be released this winter in Japan.
