GameSpot News yesterday reported on Gust's futuristic flight-racing game for the Sony PlayStation2 titled Hresvelgr (pronounced "phrase-velg", a spelling variation on Hreszwelg, a name taken from Norse mythology). Today we deliver the first screens of the game in action.
In Hresvelgr, players take control of a futuristic aircraft and race through tracks. Power Bands are situated in areas of the racetracks to replenish fuel energy - if you run out of fuel, your race is over. The tracks have several routes, and players can decide whether to take shortcuts or longer routes that feature areas where Power Bands are more abundant.
Hresvelgr for the Sony PlayStation2 is scheduled for a May 25 release in Japan. The game is currently 60 percent complete.
