TDK Mediactive announced today that Lady Sia for the Game Boy Advance is currently in development. The original action-adventure game stars Lady Sia, a warrior princess who must defend her land from marauders. The game features four worlds with five levels each, weapons and magic, 21 enemies composed of five classes, character morphing, full-screen magical effects, and secret passages.
"Lady Sia is like no other game on the market to date," said Vincent Bitetti, chief executive officer of TDK Mediactive. "With Sia we have the opportunity to reach not only the core handheld audience but also a new female audience while capitalizing on the technological strengths of the highly anticipated Game Boy Advance platform."
Lady Sia is currently scheduled for release this summer in North America.
