Microids has announced that it will release its latest adventure game, Druuna: Morbus Gravis, in North America next month. The game is based on a surreal Italian comic series written by Paolo Eleuteri Serpieri, and it stars Druuna, a woman stuck in a vegetative state of "cold sleep." Players must enter Druuna's mind through a symbiotic computer in order to save her from the twisted world of her subconscious. Along the way, they must avoid dangerous individuals and overcome the traps that lurk in Druuna's mind.
The game features 24 large real-time environments inhabited by 30 different characters. It includes 60 minutes of full-motion interactive video, interactive dialogs with lip-synched speech, and motion-captured animation.
Druuna is scheduled for a North American release in the second half of November. For more information, visit the game's official Web site.
