GameSpot has the first details on and screenshots from Blood: The Last Vampire for the PS2. As reported previously, the game is being published by Sony Computer Entertainment and is being developed by Production IG. The Blood project will be unveiled in three media forms: a novel, a movie, and the video game. The movie will be released in Japan in November and is set in a US Army base at Yokota, Japan. The novel was written by Mamoru Oshii and is set in Ochanomizu, Japan, in the year 1969. The game takes place in a completely different setting, in the outskirts of Tokyo, Japan, in the year 2000. The common thread between the movie, novel, and game is that all three stories highlight the conflict between humans and vampires.
