German game developer FIN Arts has launched a new Web site for its upcoming game Bacteria. The game is inspired by the 1987 film Innerspace starring Dennis Quaid and Martin Short and directed by Joe Dante. Players will control a one-man submarinelike vehicle that is miniaturized and injected into the bloodstream of a patient to locate and destroy the source of a debilitating disease. The game will feature around 50 3D levels and approximately 30 different types of enemies. It will include realistic explosions and other particle effects, and it will feature both short game modes and a full single-player campaign.
