Enigma Software has recently released the first information on Angels vs. Devils, a 3D action game for the PC. As the title suggests, the game will see players assuming the roles of angels and devils who, since humankind has become indifferent to their existence, are now battling each other for the right to appear physically before them and influence them directly.

　　After choosing their allegiance, players will pick a number of angels or devils for their team--each with different attributes and characteristics that can be modified and improved as they progress through the game and gain experience. Players will also have the option to customize their characters with tattoos, sunglasses, hats, gloves, boots, hairstyles, and the like. At the start of the game, characters' actions will be limited to movement, punches, and kicks, but as they gain experience they'll learn special powers specific to their faction. Celestial powers in the game include healing, low gravity, invisibility, freeze, celestial halo, divine multiray, and the like. Infernal powers include fireballs, fiery breath, explosive balls, poison, and paralysis.

　　Gameplay modes in Angels vs. Devils will include annihilation, steal the symbol, obstacle race, greed, search, the curse, total annihilation, and supergreed. Depending on the mode, players will be required either to battle with the opposing team or to complete objectives within a time limit. Players will be able to control only one of their characters at a time but will be able to switch between team members at any time.

　　Angels vs. Devils is already available in Russia and has been signed to publishers in Poland, France, Spain, and German-speaking territories. Publishers for the rest of Europe and North America have not been announced at this time, but we'll bring you more information as soon as it becomes available.
