Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, the popular Swedish YouTuber better known as PewDiePie, once again got into trouble for using a racially offensive term. This caused one of the developers of Firewatch to decide to remove the videos of their game from the PewDiePie YouTube channel.

　　It all started when in a broadcast recently, PewDiePie was playing a game of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. After having problems eliminating an opponent, the YouTuber insulted him with a racially offensive term that refers to African-Americans.

　　A video of that moment quickly began to circulate on the Internet and came at the hands of Sean Vanaman, co-founder of Campo Santo, who rejected the attitude of PewDiePie and assured that they will remove the videos in which the Swedish appears playing Firewatch.

　　"I am sick of this child getting more and more chances to make money off of what we make," Vanaman said on his Twitter account. "He's [PewDiePie] worse than a closeted racist: he's a propagator of despicable garbage that does real damage to the culture around this industry."

　　Later, the developer made it clear that he is aware that they surely benefited from the exposure that PewDiePie gave to Firewatch, so they have to think about it. "Furthermore, we're complicit: I'm sure we've made money off of the 5.7M views that video has and that's something for us to think about," the developer said. He also made it clear that they have nothing against streamers: "I love streamers. I watch them daily and we sent out over 3000 keys to professional and amateur streamers of FW."

　　Finally, Vanaman made it clear that he does not intend to keep his arms crossed and that he will contact other studios to do the same. "I'd urge other developers & will be reaching out to folks much larger than us to cut him off from the content that has made him a millionaire," he said.

　　As previously mentioned, PewDiePie has previously gotten into similar problems, so he has already lost several major contracts and is no longer considered the most influential gamer in the world.
