While it initially seemed like Final Fantasy XVI wouldn’t get any DLC, this week at The Game Awards it was announced the game will be getting a pair of story expansions, with the first, entitled “Echoes of the Fallen,” being available right now!

　　In addition to a new dungeon to explore and bosses to fight, Echoes of the Fallen includes a variety of new gear, including a series of six new “Fallen Bit” accessories. These are some of the most useful accessories in the game, and you’ll need to grab all of them to unlock the “Bit Fit” trophy. It is possible to pass some of these accessories by, so here’s how to grab them all…

　　Escapement Bit – As you’re heading up the stairs and are about the entire the Sagespire proper, you’ll find a chest on the left side of the entrance. Pop it open for this Fallen Bit.Nourishment Bit - This one's the second floor, where you first encounter all the enemies in tanks. After you defeat the Spire Chimera, you'll find yourself in a rather large room where you'll face some wolves and wyverns. Clear them out. The chest with the bit is to the right of the door you go through to continue on.Bombardment Bit – Can’t miss this one – just beat the Omicron boss to get it.Disengagement Bit – This one is found on the third floor. Defeat the Assault Unit OGR miniboss. The chest with this Fallen Bit is to the right of the door you go through to proceed.Assailment Bit - After defeating the Aka Manah boss, head to the heavily-corrupted Upper Floor. After fighting some raptors, you'll head up a relatively uncorrupted staircase. Hang a right, and the chest is right near the door you need to go through to proceed.Revivement Bit – Another easy one – just beat the boss Asterios.And there you have it, six of the best accessories in the game are yours!
