Things have gone a long way since the initial release of Final Fantasy XIV. Following its disastrous launch, the game developed by Square Enix started getting more popular with the launch of A Realm Reborn and its popularity only increased in the following years, recently reaching an impressive milestone.
Square Enix confirmed that Final Fantasy XIV now exceeds 10 million players worldwide. This milestone also coincides with the release of Patch 4.06 and the start of the annual Moonfire Faire event, where players can take part in a new series of quests and even fight Final Fantasy classic boss Ultros.
If you never tried Final Fantasy XIV and would like to do so without having to subscribe, a free trial is now available. The trial allows access to all content available up until level 35 with no restriction. You can head over here for more information.
