Final Fantasy VII Remake Development Is Proceeding Smoothly; Cloud Design Has Been Changed-October 2024
Oct 25, 2024 7:22 AM

A Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary Exhibition is currently being held in Japan, where new concept art for the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Remake has been shown. Today, Tetsuya Nomura and other members of the development team have taken part in a talk shown during the exhibition, revealing some new details regarding the remake.

According to several reports posted on Twitter by those lucky enough to attend the show, a bunch of new screenshots has also been shown. Sadly, it seems like these screenshots will be released online only at a later time.

During the talk show, it's been revealed that development is proceeding smoothly and that Cloud design has been changed. Naoki Hamaguchi, Final Fantasy VII Remake Development Leader, revealed that the design, which has been approved by Tetsuya Nomura, is the design closest to the original among those created so far. According to those who have seen it, Cloud seems younger but still handsome. Not only Cloud has been redesigned, but it seems like everything that's been seen so far has been changed.

Final Fantasy VII Remake launches on a yet to be confirmed release date on PlayStation 4. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as possible, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
