Shortly after announcing a release date for Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Square Enix's E3 2019 press conference opened with a deep dive into the upcoming game. This consisted primarily of showcasing the new combat system, which we got to check our for ourselves; you can see that in the video above. For those die-hard fans who are eager to get the most premium version of the much-anticipated game, you're in luck: a special collector's edition known as the 1st Class edition will be available. However, it's quite pricey, and it's available exclusively through the online Square Enix store.
The special edition of the game comes with a Steelbook case, art book, mini-soundtrack CD, and--most notably--a Play Arts Kai Cloud Strife and Hardy Daytona statue. Plus you get some digital items like bonus summon Materia DLC (Carbuncle and Cactuar) and a Chocobo chick for pre-ordering. It costs $330. You can see everything included below.

Now Playing: Why Final Fantasy 7 Remake Has Us More Excited Than Ever | E3 2019
Final Fantasy 7 was one of the most talked about games at the show according to social media trends. Given that it was only topped by Nintendo's presentation in its entirety, and Keanu Reeves' surprise stage appearance for Cyberpunk, FF7 appears to be the single game that generated the most attention in itself.
The lengthy gameplay demonstration also showed an in-depth look at combat, and our first look at some more of the characters interacting and in battle. Final Fantasy 7 Remake will release on May 3, 2020 for PS4. However, it will also apparently be playable on PS5, and what's included won't cover the entirety of FF7. Instead, these two discs will focus on the Midgar portion of the game. Square Enix does not yet know how many "games" Remake will ultimately consist of.
