Final Fantasy fans in Japan were recently treated to the series' 25th Anniversary celebration held at the Shibuya Hikarie building in Shibuya, Tokyo. The event took place from August 31 until September 2, and featured an opening ceremony panel that included artist Yoshitaka Amano, the reveal of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII for PS3 and Xbox 360, and the latest update of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.
The Final Fantasy anniversary gallery was also available for the public to bear witness to. It featured concept art and props from past titles, ranging from a model of Midgar from Final Fantasy VII to a figurine of Sin from Final Fantasy X. Check out the pictures we took of the event here.
